The RP, for Robyn Pamela, honours the family matriarch, who planted the first vines. Its fruit comes from the close-planted Côte Vineyard, on exposed north, north-east and east-facing slopes, the same site as the GC Chardonnay.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe fruit is hand-picked and sorted, 40 to 50 per cent destemmed and fermented with natural yeast in open-top fermenters, then aged in 50 to 60 per cent new Allier oak for 18 months.
