Domaine de Montille in Volnay is one of Burgundy's most respected estates, now run by Étienne de Montille. Taillepieds is one of Volnay's finest Premier Crus, high on the slope.

The 2007 is a mature bottle, with red cherry and dried flowers joined by earthy, savoury notes and silky tannins.

Mature Volnay for roast chicken, veal or mushroom dishes.
