Domaine Hoffmann-Jayer (formerly Jayer-Gilles) is based in Magny-lès-Villers in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and farms its vineyards organically, though without certification. The estate is known for pure, precise Pinot Noir across the Hautes-Côtes and the Côte de Nuits.

Cuvée Rosalie is a parcel selection from Les Chasserots at Magny-lès-Villers: 0.37 hectares at 340 metres, facing south to south-east, with vines around 50 years old. It is made only in exceptional years, from just three barrels, or about 740 bottles. The fruit is fully destemmed and aged for 18 to 20 months, then bottled without filtration. Expect ripe, fresh forest berries, a chalky note and a silky, fresh finish.
