Tolpuddle Vineyard was planted in 1988 on a gentle north-east-facing slope in Tasmania's Coal River Valley, east of Hobart. Since 2011 it has been owned by Martin Shaw and Michael Hill Smith of Shaw + Smith, who have made it one of Australia's most sought-after single vineyards.
The 2025 shows the cool, dry Coal River climate in a taut, precise Chardonnay: citrus, white peach and nectarine over a fine, mineral line, with subtle oak and real length.
